Listen, we’ve all been there: You are raring to go in the morning, full of energy and enthusiasm about your day — whatever it might hold. And then 2 p.m. hits, and all you can think about is how to catch a few winks, a little rest, so you can power through the rest of the day. That mid-afternoon slump is a real thing, and if you decide to load up on coffee in order to wake yourself up, you risk the danger of not being able to fall asleep at night. So it’s a balancing act, and it can be hard to sort out what’s best for  you and what’s best for the work you have to get done in the rest of the day. Fortunately there are other tips and tricks to turn to in order to get through the day with the same energy level (mostly) as you start out with.
