It is time to do an annual review our 2018 accomplishments and challenges. This is the time of year when many of our clients, co-workers and team members are out of the office. I encourage you to use the slower days of the year to reflect on your 2018 successes, and to get organized for a new year. Take a few minutes to clear the clutter off your physical and digital desktop. If you need some quick ideas on how to cleanup your office or your computer, there are some great ideas on our blog. Do a yearly review by asking yourself:
1. What were my successes this year?
2. What challenges and opportunities did I faced this year?
3. What did I learn from my successes and my challenges?
Answering these simple questions will help you strategically set goals and plan for 2019. Maybe you need more continuing education to help you overcome your challenges? One of the biggest hurdles I faced this year was finding time to network. As I plan for 2019, I am going to intentionally schedule my networking events. My goal for you is to use this annual review as a growth tool. It will help you start the year off focused, organized and productive.
As we head into the holidays and the end of 2018, I want to personally wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season! Happy New Year!
All my best,
